On Saturday, August 1st, Brompton Bicycle, hosted its 10th Brompton World Championship race in Central London as part of the Prudential RideLondon Cycling Festival. Check out the video below and read more about it on the Brompton site here.
The good news is that all those who couldn’t make it across the pond are invited to the Brompton US Championship coming to Richmond, VA on September 25. It’s a wonderfully festive event and quite a party.
Brompton has arranged a bus from NYC and reserved local rooms at reduced rates. Time is short, as the reduced rate room offer expires on August 9, so sign up soon! Details and registration information are available on the Brompton website here.

My wife and I attended the 8th World Championship in London in 2013, and I, the 1st US Championship in Philadelphia prior to that. It’s hardly possible to describe how well organized and and fun these events are. Mark your calendars and make it if you can. You won’t regret it!
